So I fell off the wagon....

Alright, so I'm not proud of this post. But I do feel it is slightly justified at the same time.

I have a soda addiction. Or had one, I should say. It got so bad a few years back, (I just HAD to have that fizz and burn in my mouth--other liquids just wouldn't do) that I had to swear off the stuff completely. For what its worth, I think soda is one of the worst things you could put in your body. It's a Big No, No, in my book.

Well the other week, when I was really sick, I remembered that Coke was supposed to help with stomach issues (is that a rumor, or is it true?) Because I was feeling SO bad, I was willing to try anything, even Coke. So I drunk one. And then two. And then three. From there, it was all downhill (and yes, you guessed what the bedside tupperware was for, pictured below).

At that point, I figured I might as well try the "Couronne" (sort of like Fanta), since I was already on a roll (and needed to replenish my electrolytes anyways). And then, I fell into such despair that I figured there was no hope left for me.

So today at the supermarket I succumbed...in a big moment of weakness. I came home with the following purchases.

Hey, this could have been a lot worse. I could have stocked my cart up with 6 and 12-packs. But I opted for this nice little assortment--a sampler platter if you will--so I could figure out what I liked best.
At first, this was kind of a liberating experience. But now, all those good feelings have turned sour. I think I had better mend my ways before it gets too far out of hand.

The first step is coming clean. I just did that. I think the next step would be to throw the remaining cans away. Maybe after the Cherry Pepsi, I'll consider.
So that's my vice, what's yours?
